Mac OS X Yosemite, Mac Mail issues

After upgrading to OS X Yosemite some of our clients and Mach One employees were experiencing slow progress of sending and a delay of receiving email using the Mail application.

Our engineers have come across a fix for these mail woes many users were finding frustrating:

From the “Mail” Pulldown menu, choose “Preferences” then “Accounts”

For each account you have configured, click on the Advanced tab & un-tick “Automatically detect and maintain account settings”
