Cyber security is about protecting your computer-based equipment and information from unintended or unauthorised access, change, theft or destruction. The Internet brings huge business opportunities and benefits but it also brings risks.

ICT departments can build the strongest most robust systems in the world, however if these are made too complicated and too restrictive users will undoubtedly find less secure workarounds. It might be something as simple as writing your password on a post-it note and sticking it to your computer, or something more complex such as setting up a VPN or remote proxy to bypass a Webfilter.

Practising safe behaviours will reduce the risk of online threats to your business, we can educate your users on topics such as:

• Scam/Phishing detection
• Handling of untrusted memory sticks/external storage devices
